Give the girl a chance, it may even turn out nicely!
And as for script re-writes etc, the only person who
didn't do that was Hitchcock - because he had worked
out the whole film and had his pal draw it up on a storyboard,
shot by shot, beforehand.
He said the actual filming was BORING, the fun part
was working with his wife (who wrote the scripts) and
his storyboard pal.

It's hard on the scriptwriter, though, and on everybody,
but films get changed on a day-to-day basis - William
Holden says in "Sunset Boulevard" something about
writing a script for a western and by the time they're
shooting it, it's all about aliens in outer space.
