Routh wishes to reprise Superman role

Brandon Routh has said that he would like to play Superman again.
The actor, who portrayed the title role in Bryan Singer's 2006 film
Superman Returns, explained that he would jump at the chance to star
as the iconic character in a new film.
"I certainly would [love to play Superman again]," Routh said during a
round-table discussion at Comic-Con for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,
reports Blastr.
He added: "As much as I say I'm working to shake that off or shake it
up, I certainly don't want to extinguish or get rid of it because it
was a great honour and I would love to be able to return as that
character."
Christopher Nolan and David Goyer are reportedly working on a new
Superman movie for Warner Bros. Routh said that the filmmakers have
not contacted him about reprising the role. |
