Oy. I suppose that maybe-MAYBE-this excuse MIGHT work if Jackson's
"appearance" in that "recent film" had been designed as a FILM and not
a bunch of random-ish stuff edited together to cash in on his untimely
demise. Maybe. But probably not.

I doubt anyone would have noticed, given he wasn't an actor, hadn't
been nominated for a musical award and didn't weasel his way into
Academy membership on some technicality.
