He can go to a midnight or later start; ummm.......incidentally what
NBC offered all along, with the Tonight Show mantle intact with
Conan's name, and which he refused. Conan said the Tonight Show must
stay at 11:30, thereby relinquished it to Leno, and it ends up he may
have saved the show after all by bowing out and allowing Leno to take
back the show's traditional market share which Richter and O'Brien had
seemingly squandered. |
