Hydrocodone(Vicodin) is very rarely prescribed to someone with
breathing problems because it depresses the respiratory system.I think
she may have taken the vicodin to help relieve the flu symptoms
(muscle aches etc).The pneumonia coupled with the hydrocodone was
surely not a good combination in her case.It has also been reported
that she took OTC cough medication.
Poor thing self medicated herself to death.It isn't like she was out
partying for days and ended up like this.She was apparently sick for
days and ended up like this.
Maybe the husband and mom are on the same page now because they both
know that one or both of them should have taken her to a Doc.
This one bothers me because it apparently could have been avoided with
a simple visit to the ER or a Doc visit.
