Tell that to the Irish. There is a reason for the Irish diaspora, and
it was attuned to what is going in Dafur right now, than it has with
spread Anglo Saxon civilization and culture. Britain acted in Ireland
how Tsarist Russia acted in the Jewish Pale.
However, The US is a very violent country. It always has been a very
violent country.
I think Paltrow makes some points that many Americans should consider.
Yes, she is a spoiled and privilege, growing up in Santa Barbara. It
is nice she can live a nice lifestyle in the UK, and travel to many
places to see different perspectives, (which is why I think everyone
should travel) If more Americans travelled, they wouldn't be afraid of
countries like Norway and its social welfare state, than settling for
idiocy of the US health care system.
However, her judgments are more Marie Antoinette than Jane Addams. She
never had to worry about money in her life, she had people around her
helping her throughout her career with Steven Spielberg being the number
one suspect. She can enjoy life, but she like many entertainment
figures confuse attention on them as intelligence. |
