ChattahBox)—Sally Kern, a controversial Republican lawmaker from
Oklahoma, known for her anti-... rhetoric and walking into the state
capital with a semi-automatic handgun stashed in her purse, is once again
making headlines for drafting a bizarre Proclamation for Morality, where
she blames the economic crisis on homo.uality, other forms of
debauchery and President Obama.

Sally Kern is on a mission to force her Christian right-wing ultra
Conservative views on the rest of the world and using her position of
State Rep. to do it.

When she was caught not once, but twice trying to take a handgun into the
State Capitol building, she said, “Aw, I forgot!”

When questioned about her reasons for hiding a handgun in her purse, Kerr
said, “It has nothing to do with the homo.ual situation and I’m just
sorry that I forgot to take it out.”

In her Oklahoma Citizen’s Proclamation for Morality, Kern calls for a
“…need for a national awakening of righteousness in our land,” cherry
picking quotes from James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and
Thomas Jefferson to support her notion of a government based on Bible
principles and her views on morality.

Kern believes there are more sinister motives at play, besides Wall
Street for our nation’s economic crisis.

Kern believes President’ Obama’s support of ... pride events scheduled
during the month of June and his failure to celebrate National Prayer Day
to her satisfaction are to blame for our economic downturn.

Kern rails against same . marriage and other forms of debauchery,
blaming such immoral behavior for our economic woes.

Last year she even compared homo.uality to terrorism, saying, “I
honestly think it’s the biggest threat our nation has, even more so than
terrorism or Islam - which I think is a big threat, okay?”

Kerr has taken her campaign against homo.uality to such great lengths,
she even once announced she had discovered a secret copy of the infamous
... Agenda, contained in a book entitled, “After the Ball,” by Marshall
Kirk and Hunter Madsen, which was named after a musical adaptation of
Oscar Wilde’s “Lady Windermere’s Fan.”

WHEREAS, we believe our economic woes are consequences of our greater
national moral crisis; and

WHEREAS, this nation has become a world leader in promoting abortion,
.ography, same . marriage, . trafficking, divorce, illegitimate
births, child abuse, and many other forms of debauchery; and

WHEREAS, alarmed that the Government of the United States of America is
forsaking the rich Christian heritage upon which this nation was built;
and

WHEREAS, grieved that the Office of the president of these United States
has refused to uphold the long held tradition of past presidents in
giving recognition to our National Day of Prayer; and

WHEREAS, deeply disturbed that the Office of the president of these
United States disregards the biblical admonitions to live clean and pure
lives by proclaiming an entire month to an immoral behavior;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we the undersigned elected officials
of the people of Oklahoma, religious leaders and citizens of the State of
Oklahoma, appealing tithe Supreme Judge of the world, solemnly declare
that the HOPE of the great State of Oklahoma and of these United States,
rests upon the Principles of Religion and Morality as put forth in the
HOLY BIBLE; and

BE IT RESOLVED that we, the undersigned, believers in the One True God
and His only Son, call upon all to join with us in recognizing that
“Blessed is the Nation whose God is the Lord,” and humbly implore all who
love Truth and Virtue to live above reproach in the sight of God and man
with a firm reliance on the leadership and protection of Almighty God;
and

BE IT RESOLVED that we, the undersigned, humbly call upon Holy God, our
Creator, Sustainer, and Redeemer, to have mercy on this nation, to stay
His hand of judgment, and grant a national awakening of righteousness and
Christian renewal as we repent of our great sin.

Rep. Sally Kern plans to descend on the State Capitol next month together
with her supporters to sign the “Oklahoma Citizen’s Proclamation for
Morality.”

If there are any sane Republicans, they are not speaking up. They are
allowing crackpots like this one, like Rush and Beck, like Representative
Michele Bachmann (MN-6) to spout crazy shit.

Does any sane Republican, if such exists, have the courage to speak up?

I doubt it.

Republicans can't blame the "liberal media" and any supposed bias for
this outpouring of insanity.

It's their own damn fault. Couldn't happen to a more deserving group.
