Tom Schatz Chief HUTA.
The alternative, let these gas guzzling monstrosities sit and rust eating=
up
assets in hangar and maintenance fees with full crews sitting on their =
ass
counting ceiling tiles waiting to fly ?
Yeah sit them on some $288 coach, $837 1st class flight and RISK missing =
that
meeting ? Lose their luggage and papers, frisk them at the entrance =
etc...

Good for him. It was stupid to even bring up their mode of how they got =
there
ON TIME.

Yeah you want to stay in business, find some way to justify 1 or more $28
million annual salaried employees.

When it comes to planting and picking potatoes to feed your family, a $28
million dollar a year employee is so far down on the list it'd never be
mentioned.

vs cutting CEO salary's. Making cars that can actually be used in this =
economy
for their intended purpose !
Seems to me closing 17 plants and those employees going on welfare should=
have
been when he asked for gov't. help. But then like the locals. they're now
selling those gas guzzling humvees @ $18,000. H1 =3D $98,000.00 BI =

Iraq]
Damn expensive flower pots at either price if you ask me.

who are now trying to get by on the street or local hobo camps pulling in
unemployment or robbery.

So who's going to buy them ?

You ever see the President flying coach with Air force 1 or 2 in the =
hangar ?
CEO's are no different than presidents when it comes to representing =
their
companies.

what a maroon. If not now, then when. Or are we even on the same page ? =
The
issue is bailing out the auto makers. Don't change the subject about mode=
of
transportation.

Seems to me that should only happen when ALL employees take a cut in =
salary.
And that won't happen.

And drive what ? Locally there were lotteries for hybrids as to who could=
buy
one. I haven't seen any alternative fuel stations sprouting up. Or even =
pumps.

Public transportation doesn't meet the publics needs anywhere. If it did,=
the
auto makers would have never got to be the behemoths they are now.
