According to this article, she was trying to shoplift around $5600 of
merchandise, even though she bought some stuff as well... IIRC, there
was also a CCTV tape of her at Needless Markup,(Neiman Marcus) and other
Tar-Jay (Target) class stores like Barney's, which pretty much sealed
her conviction..

I don't think she was required to go to Drug Rehab, she received 3 years
of probation... and got her conviction reduced to a misdemeanor..
For a career standpoint, she shouldn't have fought this in a trial
setting, she should had pleaded no contest rather than fight it..., what
it showed was that she was going to be a higher rate for cast insurance
for any film production, especially if she didn't address the
prescription medication addiction. |
