In 2002, Simmons was equally obnoxious on NPR's Fresh Air, so I went to
their archive site, to find a link to the audio file, but lo and behold!
Simmons has declined to give permission for them to put the audio onto
the net. Gee, I wonder why.
Well, to make a long story short, Simmons kept propositioning the host,
Terry Gross, in the most blunt and distasteful terms, pretty much
wasting the better part of the hour, bragging about his .ual prowess
and propositioning Terry. She eventually started saying that he was
being "obnoxious," but it didn't make him back off at all.
Terry now refers to the incident as her "infamous" interview with Gene
Simmons. |
